PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Involvement of disability issues in local politics of Tuzla municipality with a goal to obtain political mandate for making draft of local action plan in area of disability.
- Increasing consciousness of local community regarding disability issues in aspects of basic human rights.
SPECIFIC PROJECT OBJECTIVES - In order to achieve goals, coalition implementing initiative of local advocacy should achieve:
- Forming official work team on municipality level, found of government members, politicians, OOSI and other relevant members such is private sector on the level of Tuzla municipality.
- Clearly defined political mandate given to the work team with clearly defined funds and potentials (time, finance, material and human) in order to make draft of local action plan in area of disability.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- To enable access to coalition for other organizations in OOSI in Tuzla area as well as other relevant members who can participate in actions for involving invalidity issues in local politics.
- Increased level of consciousness in local community with respect to disability issues.
- Issue of disability to be high in the agenda of local authorities.
- To for mixed work group at municipality level, found of representatives of local authorities, OOSI, business sector and other relevant members with a goal to make draft of local action plan in area of disability.
- To give political mandate to mentioned team for making draft of local action plan in area of disability.
ACHIEVED RESULTS: Project will last 6 months i.e. from April 15. till October 15.
